The Netherlands is often called the birthplace of the lab-grown cuisine. It’s also become a hub for today’s emerging sector.
One of the scene’s leading lights is Meatable. The startup recently hosted the first-ever (legal) cultivated meat tasting.
“It tasted just like meaty sausages do!” Meatable co-founder Krijn de Nood told TNW.
